2010

IPS Eurotec is ranked 5th in Top Internationalising SMEs Category for the SME Growth Excellence Recognition 2010 organised by DP Information Group and HSBC.

IPS Securex, the first security systems integrator in the world to be awarded Dual SS540 and BS25999 certification for Business Continuity Management

IPS-Lintec Asia Pacific is ranked 4th position in the SME oversea Sales/Turnover Excellence category at the Singapore International (SI) 100 event.

2009

Two subsidiaries; IPS-Lintec and IPS Securex are ranked among the TOP E50 Companies in 2009

IPS Leasing was setup in November 2009 to focus on rental of generators, infrastructure equipment to international contractors in Asia Pacific and Africa.

IPS Integrated Plants and Systems Pte Ltd was restructured and changed its name to IPS AGSE Pte Ltd to focus on its new business of manufacturing and distributing ground support equipment in the aviation industry.

IPS Technologies formed a new Joint Venture, IPS Securex Pty Ltd with two Australian partners in Brisbane, Australia to distribute Hi Tech Security products. Initially the company will focus on distribution of Anti Graffiti Detectors, Video Torchlight and Intruder Detectors in Australia and New Zealand.

Perfex International leased additional factory space of 6,000sq ft to ease the production capacity at its main production premises at 82 Tuas Avenue 11.

IPS-Lintec was ranked 2nd in Sales Turnover Category for the SME Growth Excellence Recognition 2009 organised by DP Information Group and HSBC.

IPS-Lintec was ranked 6th in Top Internationalising SMEs Category for the SME Growth Excellence Recognition 2009 organised by DP Information Group and HSBC.

Linnhoff Technologies was ranked 8th in Top Internationalising SMEs Category for the SME Growth Excellence Recognition 2009 organised by DP Information Group and HSBC.

IPS-Lintec was ranked by DP Information Group among the Singapore SME500 Company in 2009.

Linnhoff Technologies was ranked by DP Information Group among the Singapore SME500 Company in 2009.

IPS-Eurotec was ranked by DP Information Group among the Singapore SME500 Company in 2009.

Jiangsu Lintec supplied four LINTEC asphalt batch plants to Uzbekistan, Central Asia, ten LINTEC asphalt batch plants to Algeria, Ethiopia and Angola in Africa.

IPS-Eurotec supplied EUROTEC concrete batch plants to Angola, Libya, Algeria, Tanzania, Kenya in Africa.

2008

IPS Marketing Resources (S) Pte Ltd changed its name to IPS Securex Pte Ltd to focus on distribution of security products in Asia.

IPS Marketing Resources awarded US$1.25 order from Vietnam.

2006

The asphalt and concrete business is restructured and reorganised to gain a greater market share in Asia and Africa with the formation of a 50/50 joint venture, IPS-Lintec. An additional S$1 million capital is invested in the joint venture bringing its paid up capital to S$2 million. IPS-Lintec acquires IPS-Eurotec and together with Linnhoff and Jiangsu Lintec under its wing, it produces 100% locally manufactured asphalt and concrete batch plants in Asia.
Jiangsu Lintec produces its first complete containerised Lintec plant in China.

IPS forms a new joint venture, Perfex International to produce industrial cooling systems for Asia. The initial investment is expected to be S$1.2million. Production has started and deals worth more than S$1 million are secured within the first 6 months of operation.

PSI forms a new joint venture, PT PowerSource Indonesia with local Indonesian partners to market and distribute John Deere engines in Indonesia. The join venture will hold engine stock of S$4 million for the Indonesia market.

IPS is participating in "CONNET2006-JAPAN", an international exhibition for construction equipment and technology is to be held at Makuhari Messe, Japan from 13th to 16th of July 2006.

IPS is now a diversified group with six core businesses: asphalt, concrete, security & aviation, engines, generators and industrial radiators & heat exchangers. The Group has a strong regional presence in Asia and is managed and run by more than 100 staff, many of whom are qualified professional managers, executives, engineers and technicians.

2005

PSI, distributor of engines and generators was awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification.

The Shareholders of IPS inject S$1 million capital in IPS to support its broad based expanded businesses in Asia, particularly in India and Middle East.  The new Capital of IPS is increased to S$6.3 million

PSI capital is increased from S$300,003 to S$1 million to support its operations and overseas expansion programmes, particularly in China and Indonesia.

IPS Trading created its own ‘Omega’ brand which specializes in designing and production of concrete mixers and generator sets.

Jiangsu Lintec, manufacturer of Lintec asphalt plant in China, secures ISO9001 certification.

IPS inject another S$1 million capital in IPS-Eurotec to beef up its Concrete Batching Plant manufacturing operation to cater for the increase in sales orders in Indian Subcontinent and Middle East.

IPS setup Sales Office in Beijing, China to focus on project supplies and generators businesses.

In anticipation of the increased activities, IPS Technologies is restructured as a Holding Company with a paid up capital of S$3.2 million for the Group’s Security and Aviation businesses.

IPS acquires Powersource International Pte Ltd to become a major player in the distribution of engines and generators in Asia Pacific.

PSI beef up its staff strength in its Shanghai and Chengdu offices in China to increase its engines and generators market share.

PSI sells more engines and generators to its traditional South East Asia markets.

PSI secures distribution rights from Lister Petter, a UK Company for Lister Petter engines.

IPS Trading secures distribution rights from Nippon Sharyo, Ltd, a Japanese Company for Nissha generators.

IPS Trading is reactivated to focus in supplying used and new equipment to International Contractors having projects in Asia. Cheah Siong Woon, a veteran in this field is appointed General Manager to spearhead the business.

Sales of Eurotec Concrete Batching Plants increases double fold in South East Asia. The Concrete business turnaround within one and a half year.

Eurotec breaks into the huge Indian and Middle East concrete markets.  It secures initial sale orders of more than S$4 million.

Implemented Navision Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) to enhance operational efficiency, information flow and management reporting in tandem with expanded operations.

Incorporation of IPS Japan. IPS signs agreement to set up joint venture with Nakano Keisuke in Japan to supply new and used equipment to Japanese International Contractors having projects overseas.

2004

Incorporation of IPS SAS Pty Ltd. IPS Marketing signs agreement to setup a joint venture with William Lee, veteran in Aviation Industry to increase the Group’s sales in Australia. Commenced operations on 24 February 2004 and secured its first aviation deal worth S$800,000 within 3 months of operation.

IPS appoints Angela Gabiano Tan as Non-executive and Independent Director to enhance its corporate governance practice, provide commercial and financial advisory supervision.

Concrete's Operation undergoes major restructuring and right sizing. Sakthi is appointed General Manager for Concrete Business to transform the division from a trading company to a full pledged manufacturing company.

IPS-Eurotec is formed to produce its first ever Concrete Batching Plant under its own “Eurotec” brand.

IPS Marketing achieves its 10th sale of VACIS Cargo Inspection Systems.

With the increase in businesses overseas and more entities under its wing, International Project Supplies (S) Pte Ltd change its name to IPS Group Pte Ltd on 12 May 2004 to better reflect its regional presence and image as a parent company of the enlarged group.

2003

IPS-Lintec signs an asphalt manufacturing joint venture agreement with Lintec GmbH and local Chinese Company, JYZX to set up its first asphalt plant manufacturing facility, Jiangsu Lintec in Jiangyin China for the road construction industry. First local asphalt plant was produced and delivered in the same year. This setup ensures our asphalt plant is not only price competitive but also enables us to service our customers’ needs and cut down on the long delivery lead time.

Titan Aviation, a French Multinational Company signs distribution agreement with IPS Marketing for the sale of aircraft refuelling equipment in South East Asia market.

IPS appoints Archer Ong Chin Hin as a Group Financial Controller to spearhead the Group's finance, treasury, IT, HR, Administration and Warehousing functions. Archer is also appointed as member to its Board of Directors.

IPS Marketing signs distribution agreement with Exploranium, a leading supplier of radiation detection equipment.

2002

IPS acquires Linnhoff Technologies. It teams up with Lintec GmbH, our German partner, to manufacture asphalt plants under Linnhoff’s brand for India and South East Asia markets. The manufacturing operation is localized in Singapore and this enable IPS to provide value added services and solutions to both our partners and customers. This tie-up brings enormous benefits and revenue contribution to the group. Sales hit more than S$10 million within a short span of one & half year.

IPS Marketing is awarded an order for the first sale of VACIS Cargo Inspection System outside North America.

IPS Marketing signs distribution agreement with SAIC, the manufacturer of the VACIS range of Cargo Inspection Equipment.

IPS ventures into the aviation industry. IPS signs joint venture agreement with Richard Stuart to kick start the aviation business in Asia Pacific.

1996 IPS enters into a sole distribution agreement with an innovative German company, Lintec GmbH & Co. KG with strong R&D capabilities to distribute asphalt plants to China, South East Asia, Indian Sub-Continent regions. IPS-Lintec is formed to distribute the asphalt plants.
1995 Seals a sole distributorship agreement with an Italian company to distribute Concrete Batching Plants to some of Asia Pacific markets.
1993 IPS enters into an exclusive distribution agreement with a multinational French company to distribute generators to Asia Pacific region. IPS Power is formed to distribute the generators.
1991 Business expands and IPS ventures into China. Tan Suan Yap, currently Group Managing Director is roped in to head the Businesses in the Far East and Greater China.
1986 Daniel Chan Tien Lok, currently Group Chairman, starts the trading business with a small capital of S$300,000. International Projects Supplies (S) Pte Ltd is incorporated on 10 July 1986.
